If you're into vintage cars, there are some beauts in the Desert this weekend....and you can get you one. Exotic cars for auction below. 

We have some great things coming up in the Desert over the next couple of weeks. Of course there's Thanksgiving - a time to do more than just eat. Start the day off with the Turkey Trot on El Paseo. It's a quick 5k run/walk. You'll still have plenty of time to eat.

The second annual Holiday Craft & Critter Fair coming up the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Please join me for all these events!  

Reiki Master, Mari Mendoza, will be providing an intense Reiki Workshop the first weekend in December. You're not going to want to miss this gifted Healer, Artist and true Master.

 We will have 225 cars cross the block on Saturday and another 175 on Sunday.

 We will have over 500 cars crossing the auction block over the 3 days so there will be something for everyone

 The Turkey Trot is a 5k fun run/walk that happens here in the Desert.

 El Paseo is shut down for an hour on

Thanksgiving morning so literally hundreds of runners, walkers, family and anyone who shows up. Get a healthy start on the Holiday Season.

The first annual

 Coachella Valley Latino International Film Festival

Local News Anchor Tamara Damante of KESQ Ch.3 will moderate the panel discussion  to follow after the screening of Cheryl Leader Quintana's film,

 "The Purepecha" on Saturday,

 December 5th at 1:00 PM.

Filmmaker, Chris Hume the director of the controversial documentary film, "This Is Cuba" will attend the Film Festival and participate with a panel to follow the screening of his film

 on Saturday, December 5th at 4:00 PM -

Television star, Gregory Cruz from the TNT- TV hit Series, "SAVING GRACE" (also starring Holly Hunter), will be present and participate along with CVLIFF Spokesperson

for the Latin Market, Juan De Lascurain, CVLIFFSpokesperson forthe English market, Kimberly Roberts, Radio Personality Cirenia Guerrero

The event will be a fundraiser to benefit 2 Non-Profit organizations:  Indio Performing Arts Center and the National Hispanic American Educational Fund.

 As some of you know I was on a national reality show over the summer.

I want to offer my condolences to the family of the young man who recently lost his life while filming. There was a pre-existing medical condition, but still my heart goes out to his family. He was only 33 years old. 

Yes, this is me. I don't even remember this. I'm just grateful to have survived.
