Hello my Desert friends -
Once again, I have proven that I am human. It came to my attention there were a few errors in this past newsletter. As I publish charity events free, I'm not always up on the details of the events. This past weekend the Pride 5k run/walk apparently was cancelled....and there were a few 'sentence structural errors'. On a more positive note FBN newsletters are reaching more & more people. Over a dozen of you showed up to Nature's Health Food & Cafe's one year anniversary after reading about it here. Those of you who did, received 20% off supplements, great food, and samples of raw organic almonds, vitamins and Kyolic Garlic Tablets.
I'm told that since FBN Newsletters have been out others are getting the idea! Information is being sent out a week at a glance; newsletters are getting smaller; more trainers are blogging..... I don't know if this has anything to do with FBN Newsletters. I'm just glad information is getting out there about how you can stay fit - mind, body and spirit.
Now on to what is coming up in the Desert! Besides great weather, Spiritual Fitness continues with the Power of Positive Energy at the Riviera Hotel & Spa this Saturday.... and for those who remember her, Terry Cole Whitaker is still around & still changing lives with her positive message and new book Live Your Bliss. Plus the Desert's own Mari Mendoza, who will be conducting a Reiki class in December as well as the Winter Solstice, and she will be at the Riveria this weekend. 5th Annual Premier Cycling Event
Upland Memorial Park
The Tour de Foothills draws participants from throughout the southwest.
The Metric Century (62 miles) and Half Metric Century (31 miles) rides, wind around the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and into the Inland Empire. Both courses begin and end at Memorial Park in Upland. The Metric Century ride has 3000 feet of climbing and the Half Metric approximately
1000 feet of climbing.

Filmmaker, Chris Hume the director of the controversial documentary film, "This Is Cuba" will attend the Film Festival and participate with a panel to follow the screening of his film on Saturday, December 5th at 4:00 PM -
