Nature's Health Food & Cafe are celebrating their one year anniversary. Join me as well as some of Nic's Pic's who will be joining me to help Jose, Bill and the rest of the Nature's family celebrate. Local News Anchor Tamara Damante of KESQ Ch.3 will moderate the panel discussion  to follow after the screening of Cheryl Leader Quintana's film, "The Purepecha" on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 PM.

 Joining Ms. Damante as guest panelists are:  Mexican Consulate San Bernardino, California -Carolina Zaragoza, former U.S. District Court Judge -Stephen G. Larson,

LA Times correspondent - David Kelly and others.

Filmmaker, Chris Hume the director of the controversial documentary film, "This Is Cuba" will attend the Film Festival and participate with a panel to follow the screening of his film on Saturday, December 5th at 4:00 PM -

Television star, Gregory Cruz from the TNT- TV hit Series, "SAVING GRACE" (also starring Holly Hunter), will be present and participate along with CVLIFF Spokesperson

for the Latin Market, Juan De Lascurain, CVLIFFSpokesperson forthe English market, Kimberly Roberts, Radio Personality Cirenia Guerrero

The event will be a fundraiser to benefit 2 Non-Profit organizations:  Indio Performing Arts Center and the National Hispanic American Educational Fund.

5k run/walk

This year marks the 14 Annual Palm Springs Pride Fun Run.  For the FIRST TIME EVER, we will be running down the middle of Palm Canyon Drive!!!  

  The race starts at Alejo & Palm Canyon.  

 Runners, walkers and joggers are welcome,

just be advised that the course will close at 8:30 am

 (a requirement we agreed to in order to get permission to close the street).
