Dear Desert Friends -

I hope everyone had a wonderful & safe Labor Day. Now, back to the grind. 

I know it's hard to workout and keep the energy moving in a positive direction when it's so hot outside. Sometimes you don't feel like working out, going to the gym, or even being around other people. Even I get a 'down' spell. I found a solution that works for me, and that's getting out of myself. Or as Superman hero Christopher Reeves said, "Don't let self-doubt or feelings of inadequacy prevent us from realizing our own potential - when we turn our attention away from ourselves, our potential is limitless".

If you find yourself in a 'dark' hole or around someone who is oozing negativity, there are options. One is my friend Carol Teitelbaum, MFT. I want to welcome Carol to Nic's Pic's this month and encourage anyone who is having difficulty in dealing with Life on Life's Terms to please contact Carol.
