One Size Does Not Fit all

Are you a Pear or an Apple?
As most of you know I'm a true believer in everyone
is an individual. Therefore everyone needs individual attention & an individual fitness program.
People are shaped differently.
The Apple Shape - These people tend to hold fat in their upper bodies; and usually around the middle.
One risk of holding fat in this area is Heart Disease.
Heart disease is the #1 killer of women.
Apple shaped men also need to be cautious.
The Pear Shape - These people tend to hold their fat in the lower body: the gluteus, hips and thighs.
Fat held in this area is not as much as a health risk
as fat held in the upper body; However,
it is harder to lose.
Then there is the lucky Proportionate Person,
whose fat is evenly distributed throughout their entire
body. When they gain weight, they gain it everywhere.
And when they lose it they lose it everywhere.
Now, no matter how hard the Apple shaped person tries, they are never going to be the Proporationate Person.
No matter how many crunches you do.
You may lose weight.
But if you gain it back, it's going right to the
mid-section.
Don't get discouraged.
Fitness isn't about making you like everyone else.
It is about a life style.
And it's time to start that Style Now!
