I hope everyone is enjoying this weather - aside from the wind. How wonderful is this? You know you're a Desert rat when you're wearing long pants at 75 degrees. Well, I work inside at a Country Club and it's cold! Like the movies in the summer. I still have to bring a jacket! Ok. I am definitely a Desert Bunny. What are you?

I'm sorry I didn't let you know about this event earlier, but I just heard about it.

The Amazing Race of the Desert! What a great idea. Race on whoever attempts this and good luck to all! Read on for instructions.

There is still a lot of good stuff happening in the Desert and I'm so glad to be a part of it. Thank you all.

What is this?

Starts 8:30 am Saturday at:

The Chase Bank

72-705 Hwy 111

Palm Desert

You will get your first clue at the front door of the bank!

The Race ends Sunday 14th between 5 - 7.

 You will need bedding and toothbrush,

2 items to contribute to an Italian meal,

can be dry perishable or in a cooler in your car - 1 car per team -

maybe a sweater and a flash light might be useful! 

Lunch is provided Sat. & Sun.

Other things that may be useful:

- a sense of humor

- a gallon of water per person

- comfy shoes & clothes

- Sun screen & sun hat - just in case

- a swim suit & towel
