Happy April
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and stayed away from the chocolate bunnies! Remember there are still some people on spring break, so be careful on the roads. Especially with the wind still blowing.
I received an e-mail from Connie, visiting from Conneticut, thanking me for my newsletters which post Desert Activities. She was able to join the Hike for Hope a couple of weeks ago, plus enjoy the tidbits I give.
I also received a call from a friend I lost touch with in 1993. Someone forwarded the newsletter about my applying to the Biggest Loser. Apparently I leant her some money. Besides wishing me luck, she wanted to pay me back. Check received. Thank you very much.
I also want to thank all my Facebook friends for all your well wishes. All of it is appreciated. But really this is all for you. The more people who can be reached the more light and love can be shared.

What is an eco-ride? The eco-ride is a family/friendly event where you and your friends can come together for a fun bike ride and show your support for a safe and healthy enviornment in honor of Earth Day.  {Earth Day is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation of the Earth's Enviornment.} So whatever we can do to help Mother Earth. Let's do it! What a great way, by getting together with friends and family to celebrate our world. The Trilogy La Quinta eco-ride offers two routes to choose from, so there is something for everyone! The loop inside Trilogy La Quinta is also suitable for walkers. The outside loop is more suitable for adventurous cyclists. Stick around for the Green Expo held in the Ballroom at the Santa Rosa Club from 10am - 2pm. Saturday, April 18, 2009 - the Eco-Ride starts at 8 am in from of the Santa Rosa Club at Trilogy La  Quinta. The internal loop is 4.04 miles. The external loop continues off the Trilogy property and loops through the La Quinta Cove and back to the Santa Rosa club for a total of 26 miles.
